Adam Smith was born in Wellingborough on October 19, 1939. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.

He worked many years on farms throughout Northamptonshire and ended his working life with the council as a tractor driver.  He married Ann in 1961 and had three children Joy Steve and Bex.  Joy is married to Richard and Steves partner is Kathy.  He loved the outdoor life both working and leisure, enjoying holidays camping as far afield as Wales and Scotland with Joy and Richard.  Adam was also a very good self taught artist and loved to paint in the Chinese style and his favourite to paint in later years was flowers of all types.  And though he became ill and had to retire in his later years he still had a busy life with Ann gardening and dog walking.  Finally though he died in hospital after a long illness on Feburary 12th 2014.  We all love and miss him very much.
